Using your Hosting Account for Spam Filtering
Your Hosting is able filter spam out of your email. Not every hosting account has feature turned on, but you can have it turned on by emailing support@bigdomainhost.net. To access the spam feature goto:
http://www.yourdomainname.com/user
Then login with your email accounts username and password. Once you are logged in you will see a Spam feature in the Email box on the main page. (Note it maybe in a different place it depends what server your account is on.)
Once you click on the spam feature, you will then be able to choose your settings. The following describes how the spam filter works Please Read:
The Spam Tolerance Level defines the threshold, which if exceeded, classifies an email as spam. Each email is passed through a spam engine that increases the spam score on locating spam words. If the final score (after scanning the complete email) exceeds the specified tolerance level, the email is marked as spam. Increasing this threshold allows more spam to go undetected while decreasing it may result in more legitimate emails being marked as spam.
Based the following information you can set up your spam settings. Once you have the settings how you would like press the save button the bottom of the page.
Please Note: Big Domain Host is not responsible if you lose any emails using the spam filtering feature.
